Heart Pour V: Reclaim Your Power

Let me talk to you about Power from my adjusted lens. The light you carry is unique, special, it’s one of a kind.  It’s important that you know early on to carry and care for it throughout your life.  Honor it. You can’t just be giving it out to people and spaces that fail to respect it.

Your essence, your energy, your power.

As we move through life’s challenges (heart break, job loss, disappointment, failed friendships) it is our responsibility to protect our Power.  Despite the mental anguish, the frustration, the hurt. 

When we lose sight of it, or share it with people and spaces that don’t honor it, we must reclaim it.

And Black Girl Champion is the perfect place to begin…

The Power Plush doll (the Golden Ticket) gets our minis in the practice of speaking of their Power aloud, of carrying their Power with them, of holding their Power, and when in the company of others…occasionally sharing it/her. She teaches life's biggest lessons:
